Dog Training & Behavior
At See Spot Run we take a communication-centered approach that is fun, fair, and effective. Our customized skill-building and behavior modification programs are positive reinforcement-based and responsive to your dog’s individual temperament and aptitudes.
Whether you are looking for basic manners or to address a longstanding or serious behavior problem, our team of certified trainers and behavior consultants are ready to design a program to meet your goals.
BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION
We recommend all new clients start with a one-on-one behavior consultation. Meet with a certified trainer either in person or virtually to review your dog’s history, discuss your expectations, and chart a path forward. Initial consultations are highly customized and non-judgmental.
Typical take aways include:
- New insight into your dog’s behavior and motivations
- Assessment of your expectations and your dog’s capacity to meet them
- Understanding of the pros and cons of different tools and training formats
- New protocols or exercises to practice
- Risk assessment and safety recommendations in aggression cases
50-Minute Consultation $105
75-Minute Consultation $140
